Additionally, all students create a personalized itinerary to ensure their post-secondary preparation through their individual Jaguar Journey. Under the Exceptional Early Childhood Education Act (ECEA), all administrative units (AUs) in Colorado are required to identify and serve students between five and twenty-one years old, as well as four-year-olds in administrative units with early access. The Office of Gifted Education administers the ECEA in the Colorado Revised Statutes. The APS Department of Advanced Academic and Gifted Services works closely with each school's most talented leaders to provide classroom teachers with the necessary training and support. Building Leaders (BL) is a member of school staff who disseminates information from the Department of Technology and Technology to the community at each school.
